DESCRIPTION
The Compliance Lunch Debate "Third Party Risk Management 360°" will help participants move from regulatory implementation to the full operationalization of TPRM frameworks.
The new EBA Guidelines on third-party risk are final. Published on 18 September 2026, they cover the sound management of third-party risk regarding non-ICT services and will replace the 2019 Outsourcing Guidelines: outsourcing becomes a subset of the broader concept of "third-party arrangements", with enhanced requirements for arrangements supporting critical or important functions. The application date is still to be set, with a two-year transition. In Belgium, the NBB will integrate these Guidelines into its supervisory framework, while supervisors keep raising the bar on governance, data quality and how risk is effectively managed in practice.
The timing couldn't be better. This edition will look at what the new Guidelines change, how institutions can build a single, holistic TPRM approach covering both ICT (DORA) and non-ICT arrangements, and how to manage concentration risk and extended value chains, including fourth- and nth-party dependencies, with clear roles across the three lines of defence.
Join us on 20 October 2026, in Brussels or online, to gain practical insights, enhance your decision-making and connect with peers.
Participation at the Compliance Lunch Debate on 20 october is worth 1.5 points for the continuing education of Compliance Officers, and up to 9 points when attending the full series (6 editions). Company Lawyer, Lawyers and trainee lawyers may submit an individual application to the IBJ-IJE, OBFG or OVB.
